Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• COMMANDER is set to OFF in the MENU settings.
m Set it to ON. (p. 69)
• Something is blocking the infrared rays.
m Remove the obstacle.
• The batteries are inserted in the battery holder with the + –
polarities incorrectly matching the + – marks.
m Insert the batteries with the correct polarity. (p. 111)
• The batteries are dead.
m Insert new ones. (p. 111)
• Moisture condensation has occurred.
m Remove the cassette and leave your camcorder for at least 1
hour to acclimatize. (p. 99)
• Some troubles has occurred in your camcorder.
m Remove the cassette and insert it again, then operate your
camcorder.
• The AC power adaptor is disconnected.
