) I the moded program normally reads ommands nteratvely when run, you must

ause t, when started runnng or suh nteratve use n the most ordnary way, to prnt

or dsplay an announement nludng an approprate opyrght note and a note that

there s no warranty (or else, sayng that you provde a warranty) and that users may

redstrbute the program under these ondtons, and tellng the user how to vew a opy

o ths Lense. (Exepton: the Program tsel s nteratve but does not normally

prnt suh an announement, your work based on the Program s not requred to prnt an

announement.)

These requrements apply to the moded work as a whole. I dentable setons o that

work are not derved rom the Program, and an be reasonably onsdered ndependent

and separate works n themselves, then ths Lense, and ts terms, do not apply to those

setons when you dstrbute them as separate works. But when you dstrbute the same

setons as part o a whole whh s a work based on the Program, the dstrbuton o the

whole must be on the terms o ths Lense, whose permssons or other lensees extend

to the entre whole, and thus to eah and every part regardless o who wrote t.

Thus, t s not the ntent o ths seton to lam rghts or ontest your rghts to work

wrtten entrely by you; rather, the ntent s to exerse the rght to ontrol the dstrbuton

o dervatve or olletve works based on the Program.

In addton, mere aggregaton o another work not based on the Program wth the Program

(or wth a work based on the Program) on a volume o a storage or dstrbuton medum

does not brng the other work under the sope o ths Lense.

. You may opy and dstrbute the Program (or a work based on t, under Seton ) n

objet ode or exeutable orm under the terms o Setons 1 and above provded that

you also do one o the ollowng:

a) Aompany t wth the omplete orrespondng mahne-readable soure ode, whh

must be dstrbuted under the terms o Setons 1 and above on a medum ustomarly

used or sotware nterhange; or,

b) Aompany t wth a wrtten oer, vald or at least three years, to gve any thrd

party, or a harge no more than your ost o physally perormng soure dstrbuton,

a omplete mahne-readable opy o the orrespondng soure ode, to be dstrbuted

under the terms o Setons 1 and above on a medum ustomarly used or sotware

nterhange; or,

) Aompany t wth the normaton you reeved as to the oer to dstrbute

orrespondng soure ode. (Ths alternatve s allowed only or nonommeral

dstrbuton and only you reeved the program n objet ode or exeutable orm wth

suh an oer, n aord wth Subseton b above.)

The soure ode or a work means the preerred orm o the work or makng modatons

to t. For an exeutable work, omplete soure ode means all the soure ode or all

modules t ontans, plus any assoated nterae denton les, plus the srpts used to

ontrol omplaton and nstallaton o the exeutable. However, as a speal exepton,

the soure ode dstrbuted need not nlude anythng that s normally dstrbuted (n ether

soure or bnary orm) wth the major omponents (ompler, kernel, and so on) o the

operatng system on whh the exeutable runs, unless that omponent tsel aompanes
