! Do not tilt the filled kettle backwards, since water can spill
through the steam vent. If this happens, the kettle should be
wiped before turning it on.
! Do not take the electric cord out of the socket during operation
of the appliance. You should first turn it off.
! After using the appliance let it cool for a few minutes. After
that you can boil water in it again.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the kettle (1) with power base (8) on
dry horizontal surface.
2. Take the kettle off the base (8), open the lid
(2) by pushing the button (3) and fill the
kettle with water.
3. Make sure the water level stays between
the minimum and the maximum marks on
the water level scale (5). Do not switch on an empty kettle.
4. Close the lid (2) and put the kettle on the base (8).
5. Switch the kettle on by the on/off button (6). The indicator
light will go on showing that the water is being boiled.
6. The appliance will automatically turn off as soon as water boils.
You may also manually switch the kettle off before the boiling
process is complete using the on/off switch (6).
MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning or storing disconnect the
kettle from the mains supply and wait till it
cools completely. The recommended stor-
age temperature is from +5 to +35 °C.
2. To clean the filter (4), take it out and wash it with
water. The filter should be cleaned regardless of
whether you can see scale on it or not.
3. Wash internal surface of kettle with warm soapy water, rinse care-
fully and wipe dry. In case of unusual odor fill the kettle up to a
maximum level with vinegar solution (1 element of 9 % vinegar per
20 elements of water), let the kettle soak for an hour. Then wash
out the kettle with tap water, boil water in the kettle and pour it out.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
If your appliance does not operate or does
not operate properly, contact an authorized
service center for consultancy or repair.
Warrantee conditions:
1. The warranty period is 2 years beginning
with the sales date.
2. The warranty is valid only if the guarantee card contains sales
date, seller signature, appliance serial number.
Please, keep all the documents supplied with the appliance (cash
voucher and cash memo, instruction manual) during the ex-
ploitation period.
