INTRODUCTION
You have made the right choice when select this Electronic
Dictionary as your partner. This Electronic Dictionary repre-
sents a new generation of hand-held Electronic Assistant,
designed to the high specification, compact in size, light in
weight, yet giving you optimum power and the necessary
performance.
OPERATIONAL NOTES
• The Translator should be kept in areas free from
extreme temperature changes, moisture and dust.
• A soft, dry cloth should be used to clean the Dictionary.
Do not use solvents or a wet cloth for this purpose.
• This Dictionary is precision-built. Do not subject the
device to strong shock by striking or dropping it.
• Do not place objects on the keyboard.
• Be sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) poles of
each battery are facing in the proper direction.
• Never mix old batteries with new ones.
• Never disassemble or attempt to repair the Dictionary
and its accessories.
• To avoid interference, do not place the Dictionary too
close to a radio receiver, television or any other home app-
liances which are powered. If there is interference to the Dic-
tionary, it may not work properly and the display may be not
clear enough.
• When you switch off the Translator, please wait at least
10 seconds before switching on again otherwise it may result
in faulty operation and possible hardware damage.
