STEP 2
Test Unit
Hold your fi nger over the speaker
to muffl e the sound when testing the
unit (Figure 3). Blow across the
microphone several times. The unit
should emit a sharp sound. If you do
not hear the sound stimulation, check
for proper installation of the battery
and repeat the test.
STEP 3
Set Microphone Sensitivity Level
Locate the microphone High/Low
switch on the side of the unit. Begin
with the setting in the low position. If the
unit does not emit the sound stimulation
when the dog barks, move the switch
to the high setting (Figure 4).
