• Adjust the telescopic antenna (for

FM) and position of the set (for AM) to ob-
tain the best reception.

• Press VOL UP/VOL DOWN buttons to

adjust the volume to the desired level.

• To turn off the radio, slide Function

switch to “OFF”.

HEADPHOnE COnnECtIOn

• For private listening, insert 3.5-mm

headphone into the stereo headphone jack

(on the back side of the unit).

• Adjust the sound volume to the ap-

propriate level.

• When the stereo headphone jack is

plugged, speakers will disconnect auto-

matically.

AUX InPUt JACK

You can connect the audio output of an

external device (such as a CD-player) to

this unit, to listen to the sound of that de-

vice through the amplifier of this unit.

• To connect an external audio device

(eg. MP3 player), please use a standard

stereo cable (not included) with 3.5-to-3.5

mm plugs to connect the headphone out

or audio line-out of the external device to

the AUX input of this unit.

• Slide the Function switch to AM/FM/

AUX position.

• Turn on the external device.

CD/MP3/USB/SD OPERAtIOn

Insertion and removal of discs

• When opening the CD-door, always

ensure the disc is not in motion (not spin-
ning). Always press STOP/SD CARD button
to stop the disc spinning first.

• Place a CD into the compartment with

the label-side (printed side of disc) facing
upwards. Press down in the center part of

disc until the disc locks onto the center
spindle.

• When the CD has been placed onto

the center spindle, gently lower the CD-
door downwards until it locks shut.

• The CD is now ready to be played.
• To remove a disc, follow the same

procedure as described above, except to
remove the CD instead of inserting it into
the compartment, by placing one finger at
the middle of disc (center spindle) and the
other at the edge of the disc and gently
pulling upwards.

Always hold a CD by its edges. Avoid

getting any finger prints, smudges or dirt
onto the surface of a disc. In case this hap-
pens, use a special CD-cleaning cloth or
cleaning kit to remove the dirt or smudges.
Please make sure to always fold down the
handle before opening the CD door.

general operation

• Insert a CD as described.
• Slide Function switch to “CD/MP3/

USB/SD” position.

• The CD will spin momentarily and

then the display will show the total number
of tracks (songs) of the disc.

• At anytime during playback, press

PLAY/PAUSE/USB button to pause opera-
tion of the unit. Press this button to resume
operation at the same track and position.

• At anytime during playback, press

STOP/SD CARD button to stop operation of
the set. This will reset the player to the first
track (if you press PLAY/PAUSE/USB after
STOP/SD CARD, the first track will always
start playing).

• During playback, press BACK and

NEXT buttons to ski p backwards or for-
wards by one track.

• During playback, press and hold

BACK and NEXT buttons to fast-reverse or
fast-forward the currently playing track.

• During playback, press number but-

tons on the RC to select the track number
directly.
