This unit has the built in parental lock feature to prevent authorized persons to view restricted disc contents.
Password: first set the rating (in RATING setting). Then select the Password
setting, press the numeric buttons on the RC to set the 4-digit password to
protect the parental lock from being changed.
When the password is set enter the correct password into the field to release
parental lock.
- the parental control is locked.
- the parental control is unlocked.
To change the password first enter the correct password to unlock the parental control, then enter the new one.
Rating: when the parental control is unlocked set the rating: 1. Kid safe (with the most limit when playing), 2. G,
3. PG, 4. PG-13, 5. PG-R, 6. R, 7. NC-17, 8. Adult (with the least limit when playing).
When the rating is set go to PASSWORD setting and insert the password to lock the parental control.
Load factory: select RESET to restore the factory default. But Password and Rating will remain unchanged.
