 Региональный номер

Номер, присваиваемый проигрывателям Blu-ray Disc, BD-ROM и
DVD-Video дискам в соответствии с регионом их продаж. Диск
может воспроизводиться, если в региональных номерах диска
указывается номер, указанный на проигрывателе, или указывается
“ALL”.

 S-Video выход

Выходной терминал для передачи раздельных сигналов яркости (Y)
и цвета (C) через единый кабель. Он обеспечивает более четкой
картинкой по сравнению с композитным видеовыходом.

 Вторичное аудио

Некоторые BD-ROM диски содержат под-аудиопотоки,
микшируемые с основным аудио. Данные под-аудиопотоки
называются “вторичное аудио”. На некоторых дисках данное
вторичное аудио записывается как аудио для вторичного видео.

 Вторичное видео

Некоторые BD-ROM диски содержат под-видео, налагаемое поверх
главного видео с помощью функции Picture-in-Picture. Данные под-
видео называются “вторичное видео”.

 Язык субтитров

Это означает язык субтитров, обычно используемых в кинофильмах.
На BD-ROM дисках можно записать до 255 языков (255 типов
субтитров), на DVD-Video дисках - до 32 языков (32 типов
субтитров), поэтому нужный язык можно выбрать во время
просмотра диска.

 VC-1

Видеокодек, разработанный Microsoft и стандартизованный
Обществом инженеров кино и телевидения (SMPTE). Некоторые BD
диски содержат видео, закодированное с помощью данного кодека.
