Please read this instruction manual carefully and

familiarise yourself with your new kitchen scale

before using it the first time. Please retain this

manual for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions before using.

Use this appliance only for its intended use as

described in this manual.

In order to prevent interference: do not use the

device near equipment with strong electrical

fields. Keep the device at a sufficient distance

from such equipment or turn them off when using

the scales.

INSERTING BATTERIES

Open the battery compartment on the back of the

device.

Insert the batteries in the battery compartment.

Close the lid after inserting the batteries.

START TO USE

Place on a hard and plane and surface. Do not

place the appliance on towels or cloths.

Press the button On/Tara next to the display.

Place the bowl on the scale. Press "Tare" to reset

the scale. Now the bowl can be moved and will

not be weighed together with the ingredients.

OVERLOAD

This kitchen scale has a capacity of 2 kg. If this

limit is exceeded the display will show EE.

BATTERY CHANGE

If the display shows you will have to

change the batteries.

By pressing the tare button in approx. 3 sec. you

will be able to change between grams (g) and

Ounces (oz).

Tolerance: 2-5 g

MAINTENANCE:

Do not overload the scale. Do not shock the scale

with sudden loading or striking.

Keep the scale in a warm and dry place.

REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY

It will display "LO" when the power is low. Please

open the battery compartment and replace the

batteries as described above.

CLEANING

Clean the appliance with a dry soft cloth. Do

not use alcohol, benzene, thinner or other

harsh chemicals to clean the device.

The bowl can be cleaned under running

water.

Never immerse the appliance into water and

other liquids!

INVIRONMENTAL TIP:

An electronic appliance should, when it is no

longer capable of functioning, be disposed of with

least possible environmental damage. According

to the local regulations in your municipality. In

most cases you can discharge the appliance at

your local recycling centre.
