Using the builHn sound
quality settings
By remote control only
You can choose one of three types of sound quality.
HEAVY: Adds punch to rock
CLEAR: Clarifies higher sounds
SOFT: For background music
Press [PRESET EQ] to select a setting.
Each time you press the button:
HEAVY--------> CLEAR--------^ SOFT-------
EQ-OFF (cancelled)
Preset EQ cannot be used together with Super Sound
EQ.
Changes to sound quality do not affect recordings.
Enhancing the sound quality

This feature enhances the bass and treble effect of the
sound.
Press [S.SOUND EQ].
Press the button again to cancel.
The button light goes out.
Using an external unit

® Press [AUX].
@ Start playback from the external source. (Refer to your
equipment’s operating instructions.)
Recording from an external source
® Insert the tape to be recorded on.
@ Press [AUX].
@ Press [•/!! REC] (recording starts).
® Start playback from the external source. (Refer to your
equipment’s operating instructions.)
Listening with headphones
Reduce the volume level, and connect the headphones.
Plug type: 3.5 mm stereo.
Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent
hearing damage.
